Description

In the summer of 2015 superkül designed this distinctive retail space and collaborated with Kathryn Walter of FELT to create the feature wall. Using felt remnants from this original project, the designers meet again with an intervention that contrasts the clean lines and linearity of the space, and highlights the tactility and warmth of the material.

Kathryn Walter has maintained a studio practice since 1990, working at the intersection of visual art, design and material culture. In 2000 she founded FELT, a company, a studio and a label to explore modern industrial felt through installations, exhibitions and a product line.

superkül is the Toronto-based architecture practice of principals Andre D’Elia and Meg Graham. Founded in 2002, superkül is recognized as a leading Canadian design practice.

Aesop was founded in Melbourne in 1987 and today offers its superlative skin, hair and body care products in signature stores around the world. As the company evolves, meticulously considered design remains paramount to the creation of each space.
