Throughout history, flat pack furniture is recognized as one of the most economical forms of furniture through its numerous unique iterations of form and function in both ancient and contemporary cultures throughout the world. This exhibition is a collaborative studio sponsored by Ryerson School of Interior Design and Drechsel Studio, where in an internal competition, each student designed and prototyped a piece of furniture that is considered flat packed. A distinguished jury selected four prototypes to be exhibited at Drechsel Studio.
