Louie George Michael is a mix of three different countries, three different jobs and three different names. Originally an architect, she loves to play with scales. Moving to Canada led her to fall in love with the local maple and start her own line of playful designs balanced by the elegance of the wood. Using the strength of the maple to indulge in bending, or the imperfections, which allow her creativity to innovate them into advantages. She tries to investigate the co-existence of people in space by blurring the boundaries between architecture and design. By playing with functions, she now designs furniture as delightful as a Wham song. She references the 90’s not only by its looks but also by naming every new project by one of its celebrities. Her designs can be seen across the globe from New York to Dubai, infusing the world with a little more fun.
