Making Faces

‘Making Faces’ is a sculptural design project that seeks the moment of cultural overlap through the creation of hand-carved and painted wooden masks.

The window installation features two series of masks by Toronto designer and woodworker Lubo Brezina:

1. Spirits: forest animal icons inspired by animistic beliefs.
2. The Original 6: vintage NHL goalie masks inspired by traditional Japanese theatre
