Description

‘Off Course’ is a work-in-progress exhibition created by students at the Industrial and Graphic Design departments at OCAD University. The projects respond to various global issues and raise questions through visual, physical and interactive prototypes. The work in the exhibition reflect various interests and perspectives of students. Some of the topics include: a non-dominant perspective to health and disabilities, the future of finance & fashion, collaborative design for gaming and quantification as experience. The exhibition has been mounted with an intention to engage the public, such that conversation and observation may be thoughtfully integrated into graduation projects; a culmination of four years of study within a Bachelor of Design at OCAD University. Visitors to the exhibition will find students working in the space, which has been created to foster collaborative opportunities across the Industrial Design and Graphic Design departments at OCAD University.
