‘RAW’, Annie Legault’s latest lighting collection, was intended to be simple, natural and unadorned. Working intimately with the raw material, the artist is imbued with the characteristics of hemp and jute, the textiles of which the collection is mainly composed, to create organic models with a raw character.

At Amulette, inspiration is always part of the work of natural materials such as cotton, wool and hemp. This time, hemp and jute challenged me with their rustic, natural and organic characteristics.

The new fixtures are larger than the previous Amulette models, this time measuring between 7 and 11 feet tall.

The influences of ‘RAW Collection’ are many: Japan, the forest, architecture. Amulette believes above all in the spirituality behind the forms and the concept of repetition, which distinguishes her lamps. Characterized as “perfectly imperfect” – a Japanese aesthetic concept called “Wabi-Sabi” – the collection represents a “return to traditions in contemporary fashion.”
