The film photography element is themed on the artists’ personal experiences and concepts of beauty in “comfort” and “discomfort”.

Using a manual double exposure technique, one roll of film is shot twice, exposing each photo twice. The element of surprise in film photography and in this technique lends itself to the artist’s concept of showing things “as they are.” Straying away from the vanities of studio photography and editing softwares of  today’s digital landscapes, the artist challenges the idea of what is real, calculated and fabricated in modern photos by returning to the simplicities of film.

The unedited images portray an element of naturality, and symbolizes the artists uncurated, innermost reflections.
