Uncliché

The image is produced by Pansy Cheung with the use of type, composition, image, and framing. The colour palette used is pastel featuring essences of light shades. The project is titled ‘Uncliché’, going with two mediums: poetry and art to bring about a design oriented display that works alongside plants and cacti. The symbolic imagery alongside poetry will be executed through a window display in the venue of a plant shop.

The images will be able to capture and extend the grandeur and simplistic visuals of decorated plants. Thus bringing both light onto the plants and light feelings of comfort that plants and cacti give off to whom ever glances. In addition, the poetic lyrical verses will enhance the feelings resonated from the images giving a voice to voiceless plants and images. When both are placed together there is a feeling both seen and heard in the artistic recesses of our mind. What may look and sound sublime is just a simple reach to enhance the beauty of plants and cacti at a little plant shop.
