The values of DesignTO — to celebrate, explore, and enrich lives through design — align well with VFA’s values as a firm. We are excited to help advocate for and bring design to a broader audience through an accessible platform.

What impact do you think DesignTO has?Why do you think DesignTO and its events and programming are important?

DesignTO has made great strides in showcasing Canadian talent and gives artists and designers a huge platform for exposure. What’s more, their programming is accessible to everyone — seasoned designers, the general public, youth, and students. This impact is not only broadening Canadians’ appreciation for design but also elevating the value of design for future generations.

What is your favourite thing DesignTO does?

Definitely the exhibitions and community that shows up for events!
