The 2026 DesignTO Awards recognize design excellence at the DesignTO Festival, Canada’s leading and largest annual design festival that celebrates design as a multidisciplinary form of creative thinking and making. The DesignTO Awards celebrates the talent, expression, and diversity of designers from Toronto and abroad.
Featuring the work of hundreds of designers each year, the Festival showcases furniture, lighting, products, graphic and experiential design, interiors and architecture, accessories, ceramics, and more.
This year, we’re pleased to announce and welcome Thermador as an Awards sponsor.

Michaela MacLeod is an artist and designer, and co-founder of Polymetis, an art and architecture studio creating site-responsive memorials, sculptures, and installations. Her practice draws on deep time, natural processes, and solar geometry to reveal the quiet structures that shape how we experience our surroundings. By reframing the familiar, MacLeod offers viewers unexpected perspectives rooted in context. Her work reflects a commitment to thoughtful, place-based design that strengthens connections between people and landscape.
