Jeremy Do Hyun Joo is a Korean artist and the founder of Toronto-based studio JDH Projects, which sees design as an interaction between function and philosophy—producing furniture, objects, and spaces often inspired by Asian and African forms and customs. In this installation for the DesignTO Festival, Joo explores lighting, with lamps crafted from wood, paper, and glass. Created with tactility in mind, each will develop a unique patina over time.
