“Seasons of Care” is an interactive workshop hosted by The Seasons Collective and ClearSpace Wellness. Guided by Krutika Galgalikar (designer and founder of The Seasons Collective) and Mihret Haile (trauma-informed wellness coach at ClearSpace Wellness), this
gathering invites attendees into an evening of reflection, dialogue, and gentle creativity.

Together, we’ll explore the unmet needs in today’s healthcare landscape while highlighting the practices, relationships, and embodied wisdom that support women and gender-diverse people in their health journeys.

How we’ll spend our time together
Through guided prompts, small-group conversations, and hands-on making activities, participants will co-create a collective visual artifact that surfaces both the gaps and possibilities of care. You’ll be invited to map stories, identify shared patterns, and imagine new futures for community-centered care.

A grounding highlight of the evening will be a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, led by Mihret. This ritual offers a moment of presence, connection, and cultural honoring as we pause together and share space.

Creative activities, such as reflection boards, tactile storytelling materials, and community mapping, will help spark insight while keeping the experience accessible and welcoming. No design experience is needed, just curiosity.

Why this gathering matters
We know that care doesn’t happen in clinics alone; it emerges from community, shared knowledge, lived experience, and cultural wisdom. This workshop creates space to:

  • Identify the gaps people experience in systems of care
  • Amplify support systems that already sustain us
  • Imagine new approaches grounded in community and connection

This event is open to all: caregivers, clinicians,  designers, advocates, and anyone curious about new ways of understanding and shaping care. Join us for an evening of conversation, gentle creativity, cultural ritual, and shared discovery as we imagine what care can look like when we create it together.
