Mimosa Haque, a Bangladeshi-Canadian artist, explores otherworldly gardenscapes and newfangled floral design under the moniker Strange Phool. On January 23, she will set an intricate tablescape inspired by nature’s imperfections and the architectural elements of Ace Toronto. Upon that table, we will serve a three-course dinner prepared by Alder. Fusing Strange Phool’s singular perspective on plants and the wood-fired cooking of Chef Patrick Kriss, the evening will be a meditation on how we construct the organic within ourselves.
A portion of ticket sales will go to SOSA (Society of South Asian Architects, Canada) to support the not-for-profit organization’s initiatives.
