‘Pulse’ is inspired by tree-like structure and the experience of light penetrating through tree tops. A sheet of wire mesh creates a new tectonic language derived from a cluster of similar folds which, when multiplied, re-imagine the patterns found in tree branches, emulating the experience of light filtering through and dispersing. The translucent material quality reveals a glowing interior space, pulsing light outwards into its environment, thereby drawing a perfect connection between lightness and illumination.
