The Women in Lighting Canada Kickoff Event marks the beginning of a collective journey to amplify women’s voices in the lighting industry. Rooted in the global Women in Lighting movement, this gathering invites designers, artists, advocates, students, and light enthusiasts to come together, share experiences, and add their perspective to a growing community.

Our purpose is simple yet powerful: to encourage women to speak out, support one another, and highlight what needs to change in our profession. Through warm light, shadow, and contrast, we celebrate creativity while fostering dialogue about equity and representation. This event is not only a launch but a call to action, a chance to connect, inspire, and ignite new ideas.
