TO DO Festival Features is a shortlist of 10 events, exhibitions, and/or window installations selected by a jury. The criteria for selection is entirely up to each juror, while considering caliber of the work or event program, and appeal to a general public and specialist audience. This year’s jurors include Corrie Jackson (RBC Art), Shaun Moore (MADE Design), and Claire Pijoulat (WantedDesign NYC).

It is completely different every year, so it’s always exciting to go in and discover what the year’s talent have done with their spaces. As Moore notes, since its participation in the inaugural edition of TO DO, ‘Come Up to My Room’ has become a marquis exhibition of the Festival.
‘Come Up to My Room’ (CUTMR) is the Gladstone Hotel’s annual 4-day alternative design exhibition, which provides artists and designers the opportunity to take risks, to push their ideas, and to evoke meaning. For the 14th instalment of CUTMR in 2017, curators Jana Macalik, Christophe Jivraj, and Lukus Toane have gathered a group of innovative creators that will transform all four floors of the hotel with immersive installations under the theme ‘Transplant’.
“‘Come Up To My Room’ continues to be a pivotal intersection of design and visual art communities, blurring any divisions in the truly immersive experience,” said Corrie Jackson, Assistant Curator at RBC and Juror of TO DO’s Festival Features. “Not only is it contently challenging the intersections of space, atmosphere and installation, but it has a long history of working with leading artists and being a platform for innovative exploration.”
