Let us be your matchmaker! Through the Venue-Designer Matchmaking Program, DesignTO pairs designers with a venue to host their project during the 2025 Festival.
How this works:

Step 2
DesignTO compiles a Host Venue Package, which lists venues with images and descriptions. The Host Venue Package is released with the Call for Guest Designers on July 22, 2024.
Step 3
Designers review the Host Venue Package and submit their proposals through the Call for Guest Designers. Guest designers should apply early to increase the likelihood that they will be matched with their preferred host venue.
Application Deadline: Rolling deadline, with final applications due September 16, 2024
Step 4
DesignTO will review Guest Designer applications on a rolling basis, assessing the characteristics and fit of the project with the selected venues. We will send proposed matches to the Host Venues for review. Host Venues will receive information about the designer, and see their online portfolio or get information about what they are proposing to show. At that time, Host Venues will have 7 days to review this material, and make their final decision. If they decide that the project is unsuitable, we will try to propose another designer, or cancel their participation in the program.
Step 5
DesignTO makes every effort to create successful outcomes for those who apply through the Venue-Designer Matchmaking Program, however, we can not guarantee that all applicants will be matched.
