‘Address’ is a design show curated and produced by designers for designers. Founded in Vancouver in 2014 by gender-queer furniture maker Kate Duncan after facing discrimination at traditional trade shows; ‘Address’ is anything but a trade show. It’s an inclusive stage for fashion-forward design and the myriad of folx behind it.

This unique platform blurs the lines between profit-led trade shows and craft-centric markets to give way to an entirely new approach to showing, seeking, and collecting new works by modern makers. Going into its 7th consecutive year, this exhibition has become a Vancouver design scene mainstay and is thrilled to be part of DesignTO to open in Toronto, January 2020.

Featuring the works of both well-established and up-and-coming designers and makers, ‘Address’ presents studio-based furniture, artwork, textiles, ceramics, and slow fashion. The January 2020 show includes exclusively Canadian founded brands and works by womxn, POC, and queers alike.

Open daily 10am to 5pm from Wednesday, January 15 to Sunday, January 19.
