Built-In: A Tiny Living Case Study & Tour – CANCELLED
Jan 21
Jan 30 2022
event: tour in-person

How do you live comfortably in 450 square feet? Local designer and cabinetmaker STUDIO HAND presents a tour of their recent tiny condo project.

The clients challenged STUDIO HAND to maximize storage and workspace using built-in cabinetry without over-crowding the already small rooms. The outcome is a highly efficient and peaceful space.

Studio Director Ryan Wilding added functionality to neglected areas with decorative panels that transform into practical work surfaces giving the open space the function of many rooms. The cloud-white walls and neutral-toned millwork are punctuated by hand-crafted white oak doors and mid-century furniture pieces.

STUDIO HAND is an architectural millwork design and fabrication shop in the Junction, Toronto. Trained as an industrial designer, Studio Director Ryan Wilding has 15 years combined experience in wood design and fabrication. STUDIO HAND is the union of Wilding’s passion for design, fabrication, and transforming space.

This event is by appointment only. Eventbrite link to follow. Address will be shared with those who RSVP.
