Join ‘GTA21’ artists Tom Chung, Igor Bragado and Miles Gertler (Common Accounts) and architect Bruno Weber (KPMB Architects) for a virtual conversation on city building and democratic design. This conversation will build on themes present in the artists’ works that were included in the ‘GTA21’ exhibition, touching on how local infrastructure can shape design practices, how manufacturing and production are considered in relation to a city, and under-acknowledged tools for city-building that bridge the digital and the physical. The talk is programmed to coincide with the 2022 DesignTO Festival, which confronts urban sustainability, and the meaning of community.
