Danish Desire

Jan 18 2020

Danish design evokes a visceral response from us with its keen attention to craftsmanship and materials and emphasis on the beauty and practical usefulness of every-day objects. ‘Danish Desire’ is a multi-studio exploration of our desire for Danish design.

The three studios at 245 Davenport Road will each share their perspective on the influence of Danish design on their respective practices. Furniture and product showrooms occupy the first 2 floors and an architecture studio occupies the top floor: TORP is dedicated to Danish furniture and products and Hollace Cluny features a number of Danish pieces within a multi-national product offering.

The evening reception will feature a lecture by a leading Danish design authority.

This exhibition is coordinated by the Danish Consulate General.
