This exhibition features projects that push the boundaries of creative technology and have been developed in the Design + Technology Lab at The Creative School. The featured projects include student, staff, and faculty work from across The Creative School and range from digital knitting, robotic performances, CNC milled furniture, UV printed images, wearable technology and more.
The Design + Technology Lab is a creative tech-based workshop that supports research, scholarship, curriculum, and entrepreneurship activities across The Creative School and Zone Learning. We look to disrupt and revolutionize the use of technology within the creative fields by leveraging digital fabrication tools such as CNC milling, 3D printing, textile computing, and robotics. The Lab is more than a fabrication facility and facilities projects in the creative technology space including AR/VR, projection mapping, motion tracking, drones, 3D scanning, and more.
The Creative School offers research, education and innovation in media and communication, design and the creative industries spanning across nine schools and 26 programs that have been identified as the top in their field both nationally and internationally.
