‘Dollhouse/Architectural Model’ is a playful project concerning looking, seeing, understanding, and misunderstanding. Glass and wood combine in familiar, but uncertain ways.

Patterns of red circles, blue ovals, and yellow lines repeat between parts and pieces in the installation. Blown glass forms of stretched spheres, cubes, or cylinders sit inside asymmetrical, white, plywood structures with hints of these patterns. The patterns show up around the space in various forms, shapes, and scales. Glass and wood can be both domestic and commercial, decorative and structural. The knowledge of these materials and symbols informs.

Located at Lightform, ‘Dollhouse/Architectural Model’ by Rachael Wong utilizes the large, windowed space. Viewers can experience the installation inside or from the outside, looking in.
