‘Double Entendre’ is a group exhibition that brings together emerging designers from Montreal and Toronto. The central theme of this exhibition challenges how design principles can be applied to give intentions to unexpected and unconventional elements, not commonly associated with design. Instead of merely accepting imperfections or byproducts as flaws, the participants view them as potential features to be harnessed and integrated into their creative process.

The exhibition seeks to reveal the hidden possibilities within these untraditional elements and demonstrate how they can be utilized with a new given purpose. This agnostic approach to design aims to expand the definition of what is considered valuable by revealing the hidden possibilities of the physical world.
