‘Light Sequence’ is a sculptural lighting installation by Studio Parisotto + Samad that explores rhythm, material tension, and the emotional register of light. Formed from bent metal and warm luminous elements, the piece draws on architectural geometry while remaining tactile and human-scaled.

Suspended within space, it moves between structure and ornament — its repetition suggesting motion while its stillness invites reflection. Subtle shifts in spacing and reflection create optical variations where light overlaps, amplifies, and fades in quiet rhythm.

Through proportion and restraint, ‘Light Sequence’ studies light as both structure and feeling — a spatial language that defines how we perceive distance, rhythm, and connection.

The work reflects Studio Parisotto + Samad’s ongoing investigation into the relationship between art and the built environment. The studio experiments across scales — shaping objects, installations, and interiors where material, light, and atmosphere are composed with equal intention. Founded by Sara Parisotto and Hamid Samad, the practice extends their decades of experience leading Commute, known for crafting emotive, narrative-driven spaces.

In ‘Light Sequence’, that architectural sensibility is distilled into a singular gesture: light as structure, rhythm as form, and perception as the medium where design becomes experience.
