‘Many Colours, One Sky’ is a suspended installation of clustered paper mobiles in the brand colours of the Yonge + St. Clair neighbourhood: teal, orange, yellow, and purple. Each cluster—composed of delicate, kinetic forms—appears like a floating cloud, hovering between ceiling and floor. Together, the four clusters create a vibrant constellation of colour and movement within the window gallery, visible from the street.

The installation reflects on Canadian identity through the lens of diversity and belonging. Just as no cloud is made of a single drop, Canada’s strength lies in the coming together of many backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. Each colour retains its individuality while contributing to a shared atmosphere of joy and connection.

As the mobiles gently sway, they remind viewers that identity is fluid—ever-changing and enriched by those who gather here. ‘Many Colours, One Sky’ celebrates the beauty of unity in diversity: many colours held together under one sky.
