‘Pearls of Memories’ by Alina Tacmelova embodies the inner emotional landscape. It is a space of stillness, tenderness, and reflection. Delicate garlands of pearls, each symbolizing a memory, hang suspended like fragments of lived experience. The installation invites visitors to participate in a personal dialogue with the pearls and to touch, listen, and whisper their own memories into the space. Through this interaction, Tacmelova transforms the work into a collective memory field, where individual stories merge and resonate, creating a shared emotional rhythm.
‘Signs of Love?’ by Yury Goncharov mirrors the structures of contemporary communication and emotional exchange. His minimalist installation presents a series of symbolic choices through hearts marked with a positive or negative sign. Each piece contrasts the symbol of love with signals of caution and restriction, questioning how modern intimacy is shaped by emotional barriers, past experiences, and technology. Visitors are invited to inscribe their own “signs of love,” contributing to a growing collective portrait of human connection and deciding what they bring into dialogue – support or destruction, acceptance or criticism.
Together, the two works form a continuous loop with an inward dive into memory and an outward reflection on communication. Tacmelova’s intimacy and Goncharov’s conceptual precision complement one another, creating a living dialogue between feeling and form.
