Yabu Pushelberg (YP) invites members of Toronto’s design community to participate in a series of portfolio reviews dedicated to cultivating and supporting local talent by way of one-on-one sessions with the agency’s specialized designers. With the aim to foster community and forge new connections, participants who have organized and submitted their relevant bodies of work will be invited to engage in an online review and participate in open dialogue whilst receiving constructive feedback and strategic analysis for professional development.

Based on the submission of a portfolio, cover letter, and available space, participants will be paired with specific YP designers (from both Toronto and New York offices) who possess relevant experience (interior, product, industrial design, architecture, lighting, brand strategy) for a focused session of review and recommendation.

All levels of experience, from student to professional level, are welcome to participate in the YP Portfolio Review by making a submission. The event will be of particular interest to those interested in the lived environment and insights from designers working at an international design agency specializing in hospitality, retail, and residential design.
