COFO: Furniture Pop-Up
COFO – Cofounder introduces new, Canadian-made home furnishings by emerging designers to the market. The pop-up is open from 10-7pm daily until October 30th, 2018 at 9 Ossington Avenue. Designers featured include: Kenny Nguyen, Ian Buckley, Lucas Stanois, Mary Anne Garcia, Olivia Sementsova, and Trish Roque.

Laneway Suite Workshops
Lanescape launches a Laneway Suite Workshop on October 30th. “This class is intended for design professionals and homeowners who are interested in learning more about laneway suites. Captain Morgan Presents Legends of Horror
Casa Loma hosts an immersive one hour self-guided walking tour through the gardens and tunnels of the historic castle. “The audience is immersed in a variety of theatrically designed sets to spook you this Halloween. Pumpkin Parades in Toronto
If you haven’t heard of or seen the Pumpkin Parades in Toronto, this is your chance to partake this year! You can even host your own Pumpkin Parade with the simple toolkit provided on the website. Held in parks and streets across the whole city, you can find a parade near you by searching on the Park People website.

Day of the Dead at Harbourfront Centre
This year, it’s the 15th anniversary of the Day of the Dead celebration at Harbourfront Centre. The Day of the Dead is “an exploration of the ancient and contemporary traditions of Mexico’s oldest cultural celebration of life, heritage and family histories. This free, two day, family-oriented festival is Toronto’s longest running celebration of one of Mexico’s most important holidays.”

Feast on all types of local soups at this year’s Soupalicious event on November 4, 2018 from 12pm-3pm at St. Archangel Michael Church’s Community Hall. “Soupalicious is a soup-tasting and harvest celebration involving local gardeners, farmers, restaurants and chefs, featuring fresh, locally grown produce and showcasing the local community’s culinary talents through the creation of signature soups for tasting and slurping.
