Don’t be fooled by its minimalist appearance — ‘The Abra Chair’ is more than just a work of art; it is a functional twist on a traditional design. Assembled from only three solid white oak boards, where each piece ensures the stability and sturdiness, allowing you to relax and appreciate without any compromise on comfort.

Handcrafted by Martin Takáč, after two years of experimenting with proportions and angles, this design embodies the perfect harmony of aesthetics and practicality. Its compact size makes it ideal for any space, from cozy corners to modern living areas. And whether you seek an elegant reading nook, a stylish addition to your dining table, or a statement piece to elevate your interior décor, ‘Abra’ effortlessly adapts to any environment.

For this exhibition ‘trochu inak’ (Slovak phrase for “a bit differently”), Takáč aims for a total uniqueness and simplicity. The seamless integration of the backrest, seat and support piece creates a visually striking silhouette still without commonly used legs, leaving all who spend time examining ‘The Abra Chair’, captivated by its sophistication and charm.
